flaming pearl
For some time now and after a loooooot of effort I have stopped comparing, experiences or anything else in my life. It feels liberating. However, when I took another photo of the Chinese dragon and its flaming pearl again this year, I had a flashback: a cold, miserable, crowded afternoon, a suffocating need for love among people who didn't know where they stood. Worst of all: me not knowing what I want from my life. It is relief that now everything might not seem 100% clearer but it is much calmer. No broccoli soup. Comparing against better judgement, this Chinese New Year, I felt happy.
