You know this is what the artists were aiming for, right?! Reaction of the public and the authorities is the real goal of such "art". Controversy, media coverage, extreme reactions and so on.. heck! nothing can buy better publicity than that!
Just read how the work of Andre Serrano and Chris Ofili was received some place else, perhaps it will make you think again of world "censorship" standards.
Many artists have the naive idea they can change the world; inform the public; project on society their own truths; that their "artistic", often inconsiderate, vulgar means justify an end,
but what they often achieve is sometimes no different from what they supposedly are against.
All this "art business" is a business after all, don't forget that. Take it with a grain of salt , bit of irony and lots of humor.. dont let it spoil ur mood.. :-)

Και τελοσπάντων εμένα το πρόβλημα μου δεν είναί ούτε η Εύα Στεφάνη/Στεφανή what's her name, ούτε η πρόκληση, ούτε το αιδοίο, ούτε ο εθν.ύμνος...αδιαφορώ! Η ουσία ειναι politics!
Αυτό που με δαιμονίζει είναι πως για μια ακόμη φορά μιλάμε για το αυτονόητο. Mε δαιμονίζει το ΛΑΟΣ, ο εκάστοτε Βουλγαράκης/ Βενιζέλος, τα media, η σοβαροφάνεια και που πρέπει να πάρουμε απόφαση πως σε αυτή την (κωλο)χώρα όλα είναι μικροπολιτική με βαρέλια φέτα και τενεκέδες λάδι με λίγη απο φτηνή γκλαμουριά!
οκ, ξέρω πως υπερβάλλω (είναι και γμ δευτέρα) αλλά ναι, για τα παραπάνω μου επιτρέπω να χάσω λίγο το χιούμορ μου

ε, μη μου βρίζεις τη χώρα με το ωραίο λαδάκι και τη φετούλα..μην πω τίποτα για την αγγλική κουζίνα! :-P
με τα λινξ ήθελα να δεις πως ακόμη και στη ΝΥ (που θεωρείται η μητρόπολη της τέχνης και ο πληθυσμός σχετικά ποιο "φιλελεύθερος") υπάρχει και λογοκρισία και μικροπολιτικά παιχνίδια, δεν είναι μοναδικά χαρακτηρίσματα της Ελλαδίτσας αυτά.
Αυτό που με ενοχλεί είναι το ύφος, τα τσιτωμένα νεύρα και γενικά μια αντιδραστική τάση που κυριαρχεί στο δημόσιο διάλογο. Που όσοι και όπως/ όποτε συμμετέχουν το κάνουν εγκλωβισμένοι από τα πολλά αππωθημένα.
α, και η σοβαροφάνεια με ενοχλεί εδώ συμφωνούμε, ειδικά αν προέρχεται από "καλλιτέχνες". Δηλαδή, τον δικό τους έργο είναι άξιο ευπρεπούς μεταχείρισης ενώ κάποια καλώς ή κακώς ιδανικά, κατεστημένα, αξίες κλπ. τα οποία για κάποιους ανθρώπους ακλομη σημαινουν κάτι, είναι ευτελή και αναλώσιμα..
τεσπα..ουφ..κουράστηκα με αυτα..να παω για καμιά βουτιά και χαλαρουίτα..:-P
